Portishead Neighbourhood Plan Submission Consultation

The Portishead Neighbourhood Plan was submitted by Portishead Town Council to North Somerset Council for examination on 8 August 2022. A period of consultation  took place between Wednesday 5 October and Friday 18 November (see our Privacy Policy).

Barbara Maksymiw has been appointed as the independent examiner. The responses received have been be forwarded to the examiner to be considered as part of the examination. 

The Examiner will decide whether or not the plan meets the necessary basic conditions to become a Neighbourhood Plan. You can find out about basic conditions and the process of preparing a neighbourhood plan on the government website

The Basic Conditions Statement sets out how the Plan meets the necessary Basic Conditions and the Consultation Statement sets out how the community and other stakeholders have been involved in the development of the Portishead Neighbourhood Plan.
