Context for this consultation

This consultation is the first community engagement after extensive discussions with the Pill and Easton-in-Gordano Parish Council.

The scheme is intended to create a safer environment for school pupils, the wider community and those moving around the village on foot or by cycle.

The preliminary designs include a combination of:

  • Pedestrian improvements
  • Gateway signage,
  • Edge of carriageway markings to slow speeds

What will happen to the results?

After reviewing all responses to this consultation, we will consider the need for amendments to the proposed 20mph area. Afterwards, we will publish a ‘You Said, We Did’ document outlining the results, as well as key changes made.

Following this preliminary consultation, we will progress to a formal statutory process.
