We support the scope given to allowing some housing development to come forward within
the service settlements. We would recommend however, that the scope for considering the
interaction of settlements (such as Locking and Banwell) with the Weston Regeneration Area
are also acknowledged to ensure that additional residential development in these settlements
does not undermine the wider Weston regeneration objectives.
