Core Strategy - Consultation Draft

Core Strategy Cover

The Consultation Draft of the Core Strategy is an early version of a planning document which outlines the main areas of development in North Somerset up until 2026.  It sets out the vision for managing change in our area.

It outlines the proposed scale and location of development, and the approach to be taken to issues such as the protection of valued buildings, places, countryside and wildlife, and to make sure we have a balance of houses, jobs and facilities. The Core Strategy will not be a detailed document - it provides an overall context to guide future more detailed planning policies.

The easiest way is to respond to the consultation is online where you can view the document, and respond via our E-consult system. If you would have difficulty accessing the document or would like it in another format such as large print, Braille or audio formats please contact Claire Courtois on 01934 42 6816.
