Updated Coordinated Admission Schemes for 2023-24

This consultation is now closed. For results contact the contact named in the following text. For the record, these are the consultation materials.

This is a new consultation - a previous consultation for this scheme has been closed as we have updated the consultation documents.  Any responses to the original application will be added to this consultation, but if you previously responded and wish to make additional comments, please complete the questionnaire.

The Primary and Secondary Coordinated Admission Schemes were consulted on for the 2020-21 intake. It is proposed that one change to the wording around alternative place offers is consulted on for 2023-24 academic year, to provide clarity around the wording “shortest available walking route”.

In addition, we now are also clarifying the waiting list position in the coordinated scheme, as some schools are now adding in year applications to their waiting list automatically. This does not affect the bulk applications and we want to highlight the difference between the two processes.
