There is a real danger that climate change will add cost to everything and there is concern that people could be priced out of their lives.
Nailsea is in a valley and water run-off into the local water network with potential flooding is a real concern.

Our concerns are that a lot of the Parish in on the floodplain and we don’t want a major development to make it worse.
Businesses will be more service based servicing housing from existing retail premises.

Make all new developments more eco-friendly by incorporating Yatton Parish Council’s Green Measures into North Somerset’s planning regulations.
A major concern is the increasing number of flights operated into and out of Bristol Airport, and especially outside the hours of 07:30 – 21:30 on weekdays and 09:00 – 18:30 at weekends.

BAL welcomes North Somerset Council’s ambition to be carbon neutral by 2030. BAL is a signatory to the landmark Decarbonisation Road-Map, which sets out a UK aviation commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and through our own Carbon Roadmap, published in July 2019, we have committed to become carbon neutral for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025.

Flooding -too much development at or near to higher flood levels; The Environment Agency needs to be much stricter with developers regarding mitigation, that in practice doesn't work; Loss of ecological provision; Multi use amenity paths should be designed by walkers/cyclists not by drivers.
