A38 Impovements

The A38 Major Road Network scheme is a series of proposed improvements along the A38 for road users including those who cycle, walk and use bus services. It is being delivered in partnership with Department for Transport and Somerset County Council.  It seeks to improve journey reliability times, road safety and better connect local communities through active travel. In addition, the scheme will support traffic flow for the benefit of local businesses and help reduce the road’s environmental impact by providing a range of positive green enhancements.
